QuickBooks is business software and lacks basic church accounting features, such as fund accounting and donation tracking.

The reports churches need are difficult or impossible to generate in the software alone. They are also hard to read and tough to explain to your board.

QuickBooks Online doesn’t offer the workarounds NPOs need to use the software for fund accounting, and users can’t split revenue by class for easy entries.

Filter out data from the Income Statement by accounts, funds, and tags, and compare two periods against each other by dollar or percentage change. It also includes previous year and year-to-date reporting.
It's possible to get this data eventually, but it requires more time and extra work with spreadsheets, merging of data, and exporting to a third-party program.
