Before we hired four Account Executives and four Sales Development Representative, the Aplos Sales Team all began with Michele Visser, our VP of Sales. She successfully “manned the fort” by herself before Aplos was able to hire the help she needed to make her department thrive the way it does today! People not giving 100%, 100% of the time. We should always do our best at everything we do.
What is it like raising three boys?
Crazy fun! LOUD! Challenging! Amazing!
What are some of the joys of being a mother?
Watching the boys work hard for something they want and seeing them reap the fruits of their labor. I love doing simple little things like kneeling next to their bed at night and just talking with them about their day. I love snuggling with our little guy, it won’t be much longer till that will end. I love surprising them with a treat to reward them for something cool that they have done. I love watching them overcome their fears. There are so many joys of being a mom, it’s hard to just choose a few.
Tell us a secret.
I love to sing but I’m a HORRIBLE singer and won’t sing in front of anyone!
If you had to eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be? And be honest!
Popcorn: Kettlecorn, Movie Extra Buttered Popcorn and Katie’s Carmel Popcorn.
What is the most challenging thing you’ve ever done? And why?
Currently it’s raising 3 boys that are 3 1/2, 7 and 9. We want to teach them so much and give them the tools to be the best men they can be; it’s a challenge every day.

Country, 90’s and Pop

Fast forward 10 years, what do you see happening in the Visser household?
My oldest Ryke will be away at college studying engineering or architecture, Tijs will be a Senior in high school likely playing football and soccer, and Kase will be a Freshman in high school playing football and baseball. I envision a lot of boys at my house every day after practice, I will need to go to Costco every week to keep up with feeding them.
